As competition intensifies within the world manufacturing sector only those companies who look to optimise their efficiencies and returns on their capital expenditure can hope to thrive. An obvious answer to this challenge is to automate or to simplify and combine as many steps in your manufacturing process as is practical. The above cell provided a cost effective solution to the customer whereby sprue removal, bar coding and packing were all combined within the injection moulding machine cell. In-line recycling of sprues was also incorporated along with central data monitoring for real-time production management.
